A, B, and C-10 licensed. We can self-perform virtually everything on your project — dirt, concrete, structure, mechanical, electrical, and finish. When a job calls for a specialist, we bring in a subcontractor we trust. One shop, one crew, one point of accountability.
Rocky, steep, remote, fire-scarred — the sites that send other contractors back down the hill are what we do every day. We own and operate our equipment.
Living in California fire country isn't a reason to stop enjoying your land — it's a reason to manage it the right way. Our rotary disc mulcher on the skid steer and drum mulcher on the excavator turn overgrown brush and ladder fuels into mulch in a single pass. We handle the heavy clearing so you can meet Cal Fire Zone 1 and Zone 2 requirements without hand-cutting every manzanita on the hillside.
We work alongside Vintage Contractors on tennis and pickleball court projects — most often as their sitework subcontractor (sometimes they sub under us). They specialize in court surfacing and fencing; we handle the sitework, drainage, and concrete subbase. We self-perform bocce, horseshoes, and other custom court types start to finish.
We grade, form, and reinforce in-house — and for specialty concrete finishing on large pours, we subcontract Urata Concrete. Urata finished the 12,000-square-foot, 8-inch slab we built at Kiefer Landfill, and they finished our home's polished slabs too. The right specialist for the right phase makes the work better.
DIR-registered (#2000018635) and experienced inside the agency procurement process — prevailing wage, certified payroll, compliance documentation. Public clients have included the City of Cupertino, Town of Yountville, City of Pleasanton, Marin County Parks, Berkeley Unified School District, and CalVet (overseen by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs).
We don't just talk about fire-resistant construction — we live in one we built. Our Colfax home uses Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) walls, a poured concrete roof planted with a live green roof, polished concrete floors over a hydronic radiant slab, and a full off-grid power system: 15 kW tiltable solar, Sol-Ark inverter, HomeGrid Stack'd battery storage, and a Cummins RS 30 standby generator backed by 660 gallons of propane.
Construction is a team sport. Here are the specialty shops we partner with on the phases where a second set of expert hands makes a better project — and how those relationships actually work.
Tennis and pickleball court specialists — surfacing and fencing. Vintage usually hires us as their sitework subcontractor on court projects; occasionally the relationship reverses and we sub them in. On the Levi's Stadium 49ers obstacle course, Vintage held the prime contract through their long-standing 49ers relationship while Green Constructors self-performed 100% of the design, engineering, and installation.
Concrete finishing specialists. On large or specialty pours we subcontract Urata to finish what we've graded, formed, and reinforced. They finished the 12,000-square-foot, 8-inch slab at Kiefer Landfill and our own home's polished slabs.
Tell us about it. We'll come look, and if it's a fit we'll give you a straight answer on cost and timing.
